After working in a technical field for over thirty years, Rick began to look for new experiences and learning opportunities. After meeting Jonathan “Oogie” Richards at a mutual employer, Oogie began to inspire a love of music, especially the Roots music played here on TGRN. During several on-again-off-again discussions with Oogie over the years about the idea of launching a digital radio station, the time finally came to bring Oogie’s vision to life.

I am proud to be his partner in this venture and look forward to many years of success with the TGRN format.
