Jonathan Richards, CEO – Founder of TGRN True Grit Roots Network is an entrepreneur with a focus and expertise in intelligent building integration and a passion for radio. Jonathan says, “In 1992 with the news of my first child on the way I had a decision to make with my career. I shifted from the tow truck industry to technology infrastructure, while immersing myself in radio afterhours in Seattle. For 30+ years I’ve kept radio as a passion project, having fallen in love with roots music, the artists, and music communities that keeps it vibrant. In 2019 I relocated to Austin, TX, the heart of the Texas music scene. Austin has a diverse mix of roots music, rich in talent with iconic clubs, dancehalls and outdoor venues that has something for everyone. This is where the inspiration of True Grit Roots Network came from, along with the encouragement of those closet to me.” TGRN True Grit Roots Network, champions Independent Artists, Labels, and Venues, being a good partner within the Music Eco System.
