From the Delta to Beale showcases the music creators with roots in the Mississippi Delta and their pilgrimage to Memphis, TN; The Home of the Blues and the Birthplace of Rock’n’Roll. – featuring music from the original craftsmen of this iconic sound like Son House, Willie Dixon, and the Godfather of Delta Blues, Charley Patton to those that followed in their footsteps like BB King, Ike Turner, and the Memphis Jook Band.

We explore the music from Memphis blues labels such as Sun Studios and Stax Records that spread their influence up the Mighty Mississippi to St. Louis & Chicago and West to Texas. From the Delta to Beale captures the humble beginnings of the Blues of the Dirty Delta to its widespread impact across the US and beyond.
